Obesity is no better; People suffer cardiovascular diseases, lifestyle inhibitions, physical trauma as a result of disturbed balance, high risk for cancer, and even ,more than can be possibly enumerated here and these causes are connected to obesity itself and the factors that cause it such as unhealthy diet or disturbed hormone levels related to lifestyle.

Now why is this such a big deal? What is different about obesity now? HUGE. As you may not know obesity is not only caused by overeating, these days because of rampant chemicals and hormones in the food market our systems turns haywire. Scientists have discovered that there are intestinal bacteria that is common to obese people, and their hormone levels are affected by the food they eat which makes it much more difficult to combat it nowadays than in any period in history and it doesn’t make it easier for us to do so when so many BS that don’t work are being sold to us by the mainstream media; forcing “miracle products” to us that they pitch as the holy grail of fat loss. Bad news to all of us: THERE AINT NO EASY WAY. There isn’t a single product on the market that’s going to help you lose fat single handedly. You can try liposuction but I guarantee after 1 year of the same crappy lifestyle you’ll be back to your hippo-self once more.
Today we are going to discuss one method which was derived from the study of George Brooks from the University of California in Berkeley which showed that the body uses mainly fat as a fuel at exercise intensities below 65% of maximum effort in which carbohydrate-rich meals tend to slow the fat release from fat cells and decrease subsequent fat burning. In this study two groups of obese subjects were observed. Both groups did 30 minutes of exercises at moderate intensity and then on group consumed a meal rich in carbohydrates and the other consumed a meal rich in protein. The high carbohydrate meal suppressed fat release and usage after exercise, while the high protein meal increased fat burning. Consuming a carbohydrate-rich meal consumed 2 hours before exercise likewise promoted fat burning just like post-exercise high protein meal. The reason behind this maybe because of the extra energy that was provided by the pre-workout meal which served as a start of fat-burning momentum. This study results completely disagree with the popular starvation notion to loose weight but avoiding exercise.
Recommendation: To maximize fat burning one must consume a carbohydrate-rich meal 2 hours before an endurance exercise (ex: running, cardio) preferably grain-based foods like whole-grain loafs of bread, oatmeal, or brown rice so it will provide a steady supply of energy all through the workout as the above meals are slow-digesting carbs. Then immediately after the session consume a high-protein, low-carb meal ( include whey, casein or low-fat milk).
