How to Increase Testosterone Naturally

This is why many physicians first like to explore other avenues before prescribing testosterone therapy. There are many natural ways in which men can aid their bodies in a greater production of testosterone. Here is how it can be done:

Consume Protein and Fats

Protein is responsible for so many different tasks within the human body and affects everything from health to functioning. One of the reasons that you may be experiencing lowered levels of testosterone is that you do not have a balanced diet. It is important to consume adequate amounts of protein and fats for optimal testosterone production.

Losing sleep can have a drastic impact on your testosterone levels. In research that was conducted testosterone was shown to be especially low during the afternoon and well into the night.

Therefore, if you are not getting enough of rest, it is time that you do. Simply by getting the sleep that you need can help you bump up your testosterone level by about 15 percent. Of course, everyone’s ideal amount of sleep can vary from individual to individual. In most instances, you should try to get about seven to eight hours of sleep, nonetheless.

Sex

Now you are aware that lower levels of testosterone can negatively affect sex drive and performance. However, sexual arousal and the act itself can help to increase these levels, according to studies conducted. In fact, having less sex may be one of the reasons that the level of testosterone was plummeting in the first place.
